Reminder that the another rumored show is also a double headliner between two supporting Avengers characters.
Reminder that Vision isn’t “named first in her series” if it never was a solo show.
Just to avoid any future anguish in case we hear differently later, this doesn’t appear to be confirmation exactly. This article is sourcing a Deadline article, which says:
Also getting an upgrade: Marvel Studios star Elizabeth Olsen has played Scarlet Witch as a supporting character in four films to date. The character will be a title character for the first time next year with the launch of Vision and the Scarlet Witch, a Disney+ streaming series.
However, it doesn’t elaborate, and this is one small paragraph in an article that is about female-led superhero productions coming up. If they knew something no one else did, they would have posted this as a scoop–instead it’s a brief mention in a much longer article. I believe that it’s more likely that Deadline simply heard the rumors and treated them as fact.
Now we’re seeing a cascading effect of citogenesis, but it all seems to be based on this unsubstantiated article.
