I’m still on hiatus but I had a horrible thought and you need to have it too.

So this is definitely Vision pleading with Wanda to go right? Thanos is coming, the Avengers and co. couldn’t stop him, and she should save herself.

But there’s no way Wanda is okay with walking away, letting him die so she can live.

And of them–who truly has the power to stop the other?

So Vision, desperate for Wanda to live, is going to go forward, meet Thanos, and be destroyed.

But Wanda already knows that’s not going to happen. She already knows what she has to do. She takes control of the Mind Stone, and Vision is helpless to stop her. She steps forward.

Full set interview with Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany

See here! Highlights:

About how Wanda and Vision feel about each other:

Is there anything else you can say about your characters’ relationship?

Bettany: I think that Vision’s been on this quest to
understand what being human is and I think Scarlet Witch [has] in a
large degree helped him figure that out and what love is. [Sings] “I
wanna know what love is?” It’s in the movie, that’s the scene the
paparazzi [shot]. “I wanna know what love is?” Yeah, so they’re trying
to figure that out.

Olsen: [Continues singing] “I want you to show me…”

Bettany: Yeah, so that’s what’s been going on
and they’re very much in love at this point.

Olsen: Soulmates.

About Wanda and Vision meeting and how:

What can you say about both of your characters and what they’ve been doing between the events of Civil War and now?

Olsen:
We have stayed separate teams and the people on Cap’s side have been
fighting more rogue missions. Hence, we all look a bit different to
suggest being in hiding and we’ve been trying to within that time find
points of meeting in different places in order to try and forward our
relationship.

How does Vision go undercover?

Bettany: Well, you either travel to different Mardi
Gras around the world or Halloween, you’re golden —  Halloween, it’s his
night out — or you discover the ability to change your appearance with
nano-technology.

About working together on set:

Can you talk about your dynamics in the film as being a
partnership within the team dynamic, right? Are there certain challenges
or is it comforting for your characters to have each other within this
team but on a more personal and special level?

Bettany: It’s a pretty dynamic team.

Olsen: It’s a pretty fun group.

Bettany: Pretty fun group. Friday nights are great. I mean, I don’t really understand the question.

Is it comforting to have one person on the team you can rely on in a different way than maybe the rest of the team?

Olsen: Oh, with each other!

Bettany: Yeah.

Bonus:

Bettany: I think the success of the Marvel films comes
from the fact that they’re made by fans. They really love those
characters. When I first came out dressed as Vision, Kevin Feige nearly
cried.

do you think Wanda was hiding with Vision the whole time? Or she was with cap?

Spider-Man: Homecoming mentions Peter’s room being across from Vision’s, so Vision hasn’t been missing the entire time since Civil War. The prelude comic acts as if Wanda met up with Vision immediately afterwards, but I don’t really trust those prelude comics.

Honestly we don’t have much to go on. I mean, presumably the rest of the Secret Avengers aren’t only staying in Edinburgh. They’re all close enough to come running when Wanda calls in the middle of a battle, so she must have been sticking with them.

So my gut leans towards Vision and Wanda meeting up on more clandestine interludes rather than being with Vision the whole time.
