THE VISION #10 cover

Wiccan and Speed! Even though they’re not connected to Vision and that saddens me because the fucking dog is!

Also oh man, they’re dragging Victor Mancha into this!? Nooo!

FYI: Victor Mancha is Ultron’s ‘natural’ son, because for some reason Ultron humored a lady who wanted a child but couldn’t give birth. So Ultron took her genetic material and added his own cybernetics, then implanted the embryo in her. Boom, the living cyborg known as Victor Mancha, also technically Vision’s younger brother.

Yes it’s messed up that somehow Ultron managed to have an actual robotically-genetic son; but somehow Vision never had such luck.

But on the plus side, they remembered Tommy! He exists! Somewhere! He’s just been hiding. For over 3 years!

Interesting to note that Simon and Wanda both share a connection to their brainwave-counterparts, and both show up as faded.

I guess it only makes sense at this point that Vision’s spirit parentage to Tommy and Billy is ignored, given that it’s been actually dealt with once in 11 years.

Although arguably this tree could be representing the “logical” connections between characters, given the circuit board symbolism of it, rather than than the spiritual.

redundantz:

Long·ing

noun

a yearning desire.

Had a compelling urge to make a comic when I thought of this before going to bed the other night.

I really have a lot of feelings about Vision struggling with human emotions.

Elizabeth Olsen Explains the Scarlet Witch’s Origin Story

elementroar:

Wow that’s…much more extensive of a lookback then I thought she would do. Right up to Remender’s Uncanny Avengers run!

Though they did skip Busiek’s run…guess cause it contradicts Bendis’ Avengers Disassembled

Not a bad summary of the history of comics Scarlet Witch! Obviously it simplifies things quite a bit (out of necessity), so I wouldn’t quote directly, but if anyone is looking for a place to start learning about comics Wanda, here’s a good place.

I think the only thing that I might include is Agatha Harkness and literal witchcraft being a part of her powerset.

As a bonus she’s clearly very amused by dramatically tossing the covers to the side.

Here is a YouTube link, in case the Allure website doesn’t work (as it didn’t for me):

Elizabeth Olsen Explains the Scarlet Witch’s Origin Story

kousagi:

So, maybekindasorta spoilers, but I’m sure everyone’s heard about it; there’s a point where Wanda has to stay behind at the base for ~reasons~ and a certain someone is on guard duty. All I can think is like… how did that meeting go. I’m not sure Clint was even still at the base around this time, but if hypothetically he was, here, have a thing. Apologies for the quality, excited doodlings with only my phone to post it with at the moment. *3*

PANEL 01
Tony:
“Now, we’re going to need someone to stay & keep an eye on Maximoff.“

Rhodey and Clint are both quiet. Vision hangs out in the background, looking a bit anxious.

PANEL 02
Clint leans forward in his seat, offering up his service. Rhodey nods, approvingly.

Clint:
“Well, since I’m kinda the one who brought the kid in, it’s only right, I guess, that I stay behind until Cap—”

In the background, Vision seems to “light up” with… something between jealousy and sudden opportunism.

PANEL 03
Vision rushes forward, breaking through a very confused/startled Rhodey (“Whoa, hey man!?”) and Clint (“Holy shit! Wtf Vish?!”) and slams his hands down on the desk.

Vision:
“I’LL DO IT. I VOLUNTEER. IT SHOULD BE ME.”

Tony:
(Enthused, much?)
“Uhh… Alrighty then. Vision, you are on Wanda-watch.”

PANEL 04
Vision is #blessed.

Vision
(Aww yiss… thank you, Father…)
