How did you go about depicting her powers?

“I didn’t do that much, because it didn’t really fall on our plate to design the look of her powers. But certainly when I was painting her character designs, as well as when I was doing keyframes, I would just play with what I thought her powers could look like. I played with having some red effects on her hands. I had her eyes glowing red when her powers were turned on. Whether that was a beginning influence to what the VFX department eventually ran with, I’m not sure, but that’s the extent of what I was doing when it came to the powers.” –
